Sin Has Fractured Us

Pastor Dan's message refers to Romans 5:6-19 ESV and a book by Adam Butler, The Skeletons in God's Closet.

We are grieved by the news from our neighbors in Minneapolis. Along with them, we desire to know justice, peace, and truth. We feel powerless; we are powerless. Yet, we can find objective truth in the Bible.

Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned (Romans 5:12 ESV).

but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8 ESV).

In Butler's book, he writes that sin wants to tear down humanity. It has fractured the nations. Yet, when we read Revelation 22:2, we learn that in heaven, the tree of life's leaves are for the healing of the nations. The Great Physician will judge and heal as only he can do.

Please pray with us:

  • People will find justice and peace, which is available through Christ alone.
  • Individuals and families who are fractured will be healed.
  • Sin will be stamped down.
  • The good news of Jesus will be proclaimed and received in our community and beyond.
