Welcome to Berean!

Are you wondering what it’s like to attend a service? What to wear? How long a service will last? What your kids will do? We understand that you have questions when visiting a new church and we want you to feel right at home.

What type of church is Berean Baptist Church?

You are welcome at Berean. Wherever you are in your spiritual journey, there's a place for you here. Our desire is for you to develop a deeper relationship with God as well as connection with others.

Berean is a gospel-centered community of hope with the Bible as our foundation. With Jesus Christ as our foundation for life, we have an eternal hope that changes how we live now. The love of Jesus defines our story and transforms our lives.

That's why the people of God can keep getting up in a world of people giving up. The gospel changes everything.

When and where are the services?

We provide a variety of convenient times to attend a service. Each of our services will last a little over an hour and include a welcome message, singing together, and practical teaching from one of our pastors.

Modern style worship services are on Sunday mornings at 9 & 11 a.m. and classic style worship services on Sunday at 8:15 & 10 a.m. We also have kids programming available for ages birth - 5th grade at the 9 & 11 a.m. services.

If you can't attend in person, you can always watch online here.

What should I bring to worship service?

You will need a mask and may want to bring a bible, pen, and paper since we will not be passing these items out to limit touchpoints.

What can I expect when I arrive?

People start gathering 15 minutes before services to check children into Berean Kids, and mingle with our faith family. Be sure to visit the Welcome Center for answers to your questions, and if you're a first-time visitor, we have a gift for you!

  • Worship space doors will open 15 minutes before each service to allow our Clean Team time to sanitize the spaces.
  • Your entire party must be together when you enter the worship area to be seated together.
  • To maximize the number of people we can seat while allowing for proper social distancing, Ushers will seat you in the order you arrive from the front of the worship space to the rear.

What about my kids?

Programming is available on Sunday mornings for kids ages birth - grade 5. We have limited capacity in our kids' rooms, so pre-registration is required. Once at church, you will be directed to Kids Check-in where we will help you check in your children, give you a pickup tag, and direct you to the correct room.  Go to the Berean Kids page for more on what we offer for kids, preteens, and the Berean Youth page for more on our youth programs.

For more information on how to register your kids and what to do when you arrive, watch this video from Tanner, our Berean Kids Director. Click here to learn how to use the Church Center App.

  • Masks are optional, as of May 14, 2021, when the Minnesota mask mandate was lifted by Governor Walz.
  • Seating will be staggered in our worship spaces to help allow for social distancing.
  • To maximize the number of people we can seat while allowing for proper social distancing, Ushers will seat you in the order you arrive from the front of the worship space to the rear.
  • Our building is sanitized regularly according to CDC guidelines.
  • The toddler cry room, nursing room, children's rooms, and restrooms have capacity requirements posted.
  • Registration for kids' programs is required to help maintain appropriate room capacities.
  • While we want you to attend in-person services, if you have COVID symptoms, or have been directly exposed to someone with COVID, we would ask that you watch on-line during the 14-day quarantine recommendation.
