God has given Kiersten a deep love for God's Word, which has impacted her life significantly. Because of the hope and encouragement she has received from his Word, she is excited to work with Wycliffe to reach out to those who are still without. Approximately 1,800 language groups in the world today still do not have a single verse of God's Word available to them.
The Ethnologue, a comprehensive reference work of all the known living languages of the world, is a very important tool used by Bible translators to determine the most effective means of reaching these language groups. Kiersten’s assignment with Wycliffe is helping with research for the Ethnologue at their headquarters in Dallas, Texas.
