Take about 25 minutes during your missional community gathering to discuss what God is teaching you and how he is leading you in light of the weekend sermon.

General sharing: How have you found yourself responding to the message series “No Going Back” up to this point? What was a truth that stood out to you during this past week's sermon?

• • Application: We can have confidence in Christ as our representative. When it comes to your position before God, have you ever felt like that boy who watched the parade and paid for the circus, but never went in? (Have you ever felt like you have been given the opportunity to understand God and have a relationship with Him, but never have what it takes to attain it? What contributes to this feeling or sense of separation? In what ways do you find yourself trying to be your own priest, AKA your own representative? What kind of sacrifices do you offer?
  • Application:  Christ is the greater sacrifice. Think conceptually: What would it take for you to be convinced that Christ is actually enough? What more, within reason, could He have done to convince you? Take a moment to reflect on what it means for Christ to be the God-man. Wes brought up the concept of Christ being able to sympathize with us on an even deeper level because he carried the full weight of not having sinned. Does this illustration resonate with you? How does it attribute to your confidence in Christ?
