No Going Back: Grow up or You'll Go Back 

• General Sharing: The previous week’s message was about Christ being our sufficient representative before God who also sympathized with us. How where you able to apply that to your past week? What did you notice when you applied it? What was the greatest challenge in doing so?

• Application: We are to be mature Christians. When are times in your life when you are least likely to pursue being spiritually mature? Who are some of the people in your life that have pushed you or convicted you to be more mature? What did those conversations look like and how did you respond? Where would you say you are now in the maturing process?

  Application: Maturity is more than knowledge. How many of us thought that maturity was related to knowledge and reserved for pastors, teachers, and leaders? What’s the difference between being schooled in the word and being skilled in the word? Some Christians would rather debate about Jesus’ teachings than live them. Have you ever fallen into that trap? What have you found has helped you most in becoming skilled in the word?
