Take about 25 minutes during your missional community gathering to discuss what God is teaching you and how he is leading you in light of the weekend sermon.
- General sharing: What did you walk away with from this weekend's message? What does God want you to do in light of this truth? Did anything stick out to you, challenge you, or raise a question for you from the sermon?
- Application: Never let secondary things become primary things. What are things in your life that you are tempted to be preoccupied with? If preoccupation = settling, what are you settling for when you become preoccupied with that? What do you do to try to keep the primary things in their rightful place?
- Application: Never let what you feel have authority over what God has said. This is a challenging one, too! What are examples in our culture of people ignoring what God has said because they feel strongly about something? If you are willing to share, have you ever felt something strongly enough that it competed with or had precedence over what God has said?
