We are experiencing incredible growth this summer in Berean Kids.
Since February, over 250 families have returned to or started in Berean Kids Programming.
Our highest attendance since reopening last fall is happening right now - this summer.

All indications tell us that we can expect this upward trend to continue through the summer and into our Fall Kickoff. It’s wonderful to be part of this ‘family reunion.”
Valerie Bell, in her astounding book “Resilient”, shares this:
Though parents are important, even primary, in the spiritual direction and discipleship of their children, they are not “only” or even enough. Children may grow in the soil of their parents’ faith, but they need light and air and more. They need to be “seen” through adult sets of eyes that are less emmeshed than their own parents’ eyes. This is just one of the reasons children need the church.
Kids need more than parents…they need to be part of the living organism of faith, the church.
We love our kids at Berean and want to do all we can to make them resilient disciples of Jesus Christ! We want them, as Bell teaches, to have the spine to stand up for the Christian faith amidst the culture and the heart to love others with the love of Jesus.
Full Steam Ahead
This is why we are plowing full steam ahead into the fall. We are doing our best to recruit additional volunteers and train them to be the best loving, caring adult and youth they can for our kids who need a faith community, who need the influence of another voice in their faith journey, and who need to develop a firmly rooted, authentic faith of their own.
Berean Kids incorporates very intentional and meaningful components of large group teaching, worship music, and small group discussion. We want to maximize the hour we have with the kids each week so we can invest in their lives with the things that really matter, the things that will equip and empower them to live out their faith and grow in the love and knowledge of Jesus.
Wednesday Nights for Kids is BACK!
Fall 2021 will include the resuming of Wednesday Nights for kids in Pre-K to Grade 5. We are very excited to re-launch our full midweek programming as we embark on a refreshed mission of child discipleship.
We can’t wait to see how God moves in the life of kids both on Weekends and on Wednesdays, using His power to accomplish what we could never dream of accomplishing on our own.
