How do I talk to my kids about death?
It is one of the toughest questions that I get asked as a family pastor. However, it is natural and normal for kids to think about death, especially when they are confronted with it through the loss of a family member, friend, or someone else they knew. It is also natural for them to fear death. So how do we navigate these waters? Groves and Lowe give us some great insights and a guide for talking about death with our children.
Alasdair Groves writes:
"I suspect that right now we could all stand to regularly revisit just how radically safe we are in Christ. The more clearly we remember this ourselves, the easier and more wisely we’ll disciple our children to place their own lives, and their own fears, in his hands."
