Jon Nelson

Worship Associate

Jon joined Berean in 2017 as a worship leader and guitar player. He loves that Berean is not only a great place to serve but also a place to call home. 

Jon also serves as an Adjunct Guitar Professor at SUM Theological Seminary in El Dorado, California. He has taught guitar and coached other teachers for 10 years through his studio, Insight Music School. When he is not teaching, he enjoys freelancing, recording, and playing with local artists.  

Jon and his wife met at Berean and have been married since September 2020. They enjoy traveling, cooking, trying new things, and going on walks with their dog, Luna!
