is a straight forward way to process what you're reading,
either on your own or with a small group of people.

Bible Study Tips

Scripture

Open your Bible and ask the Holy Spirit to teach, correct, and train you. 2 Timothy 3:16

Observation

In what ways is the Holy Spirit speaking to you through the text.

Application

After examining the passage, apply the text to your own life.

Prayer

Lord, You are the Alpha and Omega. I praise you in all things under heaven and on earth. You are worthy to be praised! I am so thankful for your daily grace because I’m lost without it. Help me to speak your message and never my own. Help me resist the temptation to become culturally relevant at the expense of your truth. Help me to represent you with conviction and passion. Now to you, who is able to do immeasurably more than all I ask or imagine, according to your power that is at work within me. In Jesus' name. Amen!

Share

Now share what you've learned!

Feel free to start small like this. It's likely the more you S.O.A.P.S., the deeper you will go and the more you will be excited to share what God is doing in and through you.
