Raising a boy to become a man is a large undertaking. If you have a son, have you spent time thinking about this? I bet you have. Not only does a boy need to learn how to be a man and a leader, but this also needs to be formulated through the lens of biblical manhood.
Jared Sparks gives six ideas for rites of passage that a boy can/should go through as he grows into manhood. You may not agree with all of them, yet each provides food for thought with practical ideas of what to do. I especially like that the first one he listed is a rite of passage surrounding worship.
Sparks writes, "All of life is about worship. The boy needs to know this from an early age."
