Developing the Habit of Family Worship

by Ben Holden on April 28, 2021

Our days are chaotic and it can seem hard to have a consistent, intentional, quiet time in our homes. But when we think of what the benefits are, how can we not consider taking on the regular task of family worship in our homes? Whitney gives us some good reasons for family worship, how to do it, and some encouragement as you begin.

Whitney writes:

"Don’t expect immediate results. In fact, most nights it may seem that more family chaos occurs than family worship. That’s normal, even when you’re leading well. We’re raising families to be “oaks of righteousness” (Isaiah 61:3), and even in ideal conditions an oak develops very slowly and over a long time."
