Link: Strategies For Worshipping With Your Kids

by Ben Holden on June 04, 2020

As churches open back up during the COVID-19 pandemic, most of them are not including kids ministry during Phase 1. (Berean is opening June 20/21!) Now parents need to choose between bringing their kids to the worship service with them or continuing to worship as a family from home.

I am a huge advocate of kids joining their parents in the worship service starting around first grade, pandemic or no pandemic. I think kids can learn a lot and the experience will help them understand how to worship corporately. (See a previous blog I wrote on this topic here). So for families with young kids or kids who are not used to attending the main worship service, how can we help make this experience a win? Everyday Kids Ministry offers ten great tips that will help you to succeed.

Everyday Kids Ministry writes:

"Parents, you CAN do this. It will be harder. You may have many weeks where you feel like you wrestled a bear rather than worshipped. I’m praying for precious memories to be created over these weeks of family worship throughout our country. Your kids will be different because of it!"
